Kryptomon DNA
Mastering Kryptomon requires an understanding of the Kryptomon DNA (stats), especially the ones that affect a Kryptomon in and out of battle. With this, let's dive into the essential genetics that a Kryptomon Trainer needs to know!
Kryptomon's appearances are based on their DNA just like every other living creature! 11 stats are taken into account when generating the looks of each Kryptomon so it is very rare that any two pets will look exactly alike!
This section will cover each active DNA stat and what they translate to in-game! Green are stats used in combat and Purple are stats used outside of combat!
First half of the equation to determine your Kryptomons elemental power! Genes * Talent will determine your Kryptomons elemental power (i.e. the power of a water Kryptomons water attacks). Genes*Talent will also determine your Kryptomons main and secondary family. The highest elemental power will be your main family and your second highest elemental power will be your secondary family. These families will determine what types of spells your Kryptomon will be able to learn.

Determines physical damage dealt by the Kryptomon!
A factor in Elemental Resistances. Reduces the damage of elemental attacks A factor in Physical Resistances. Reduces the damage from physical attacks
Determines the Shielding value of the Kryptomon. Also a factor in the Health Points of the Kryptomon.
Determines the Health points of the Kryptomon along with constitution. Also affects the total number of breeds the Kryptomon can have (higher stamina = more breeds)
Determines which Kryptomon will act first on the first turn of battle Also affects the cool down after breeding your Kryptomon (faster speed = lower cooldown between breeds)
Determines the damage modifier of critical attacks (high crazy = higher damage crits) Also a factor in Elemental Resistances. Reduces the damage of elemental attacks
Determines the damage reduction from evades (high instinct = more damage evaded) Also a factor in Physical Resistances. Reduces the damage from physical attacks
Rate at which the fullness bar drains (higher hunger = faster bar drain)
Rate at which the happiness bar drains (higher affection = faster bar drain)
Value modifier of favorite and dislikes foods
Speed at which a Kryptomon can finish one training ticket (high smartness = faster training)
Main Family Talent, Secondary Family Talent, Attack, Resistances, and Stamina are the 5 trainable stats in Kryptomon. These stats start at 1/10 of their maximum potential and can be increased through training!
Speed and Smartness can both be temporarily boosted by filling the love meter to 290+. While it is not optimal to keep your pet at 290+ for long periods of time, it can be nice before major battles or training sessions to activate this boost!
